Reading about health & wellness takes up a good chunk of my free-time. I’ve found some incredibly resourceful reads that I would recommend to anyone.

And although I link books throughout posts, there are just too many to link them all.

So, I’ve written this post dedicated to my ever-growing book collection. Here, I’ve listed just 20 of my favorite health & wellness reads that provide a wealth of information.

How Not to Die focuses on the plant based diet and the diseases it fights. It is a perfect read for anyone interested in the vegan/plant-based diet, and the benefits it provides. This is still one of my favorite health & wellness books, and one I’m constantly referencing.

The Inflammation Spectrum dives into the ultimate anti-inflammatory diet. It uncovers what foods may be behind your inflammation and how to find what triggers you personally. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if you’re just starting your health & wellness journey.

Genius Foods

Health & Wellness Book on Brain Foods and Health by Max Lugavere

Genius Foods provides an easy-to-follow guide to boost your brain performance through food. Because gut health plays such a major factor in both your short & long term brain health, Max Lugavere decided to pen a whole book dedicated to protecting & empowering this organ. Truly a must-read for anyone looking to induce longevity & vitality.

The Energy Paradox

The Energy Paradox is not just for those addicted to caffeine. Steven R. Gundry continues with one of the leading themes of his previous books (which are linked below) : inflammation and what it does to the body. These are a great place to start for anyone who is just beginning their health-fitness-wellness journey.

This is the last time I’ll say, “one of my favorite books.” But it really is one of my favorites. I just love this one. It’s simple. Easy to read. Easy to understand. To the point. It’s just great. Another book on the ultimate “anti-aging, longevity diet.” And I must say, I’ve implemented so many of the tips & principles mentioned in this book and have seen great results. Would recommend to anyone & everyone.

Sugars can be addictive. It can be so difficult to consume less refined sugars, less simple carbs. I’ve found one of the best ways to break unhealthy eating habits is by learning & understanding exactly what they do to your body. Grain Brain is great for just that. Learning how these foods wreak havoc on vital organs, like your brain, leave you less inclined to make those choices.

Anthony William’s books always have great, simple recipes in the back that I would highly recommend you try.

I loved reading this book on understanding the importance of your circadian rhythm and how it effects your weight & energy levels. Thyroid Healing

The last Anthony William book I’ll site is Thyroid Healing. Although I found this book later in my holistic health journey, I still found it helpful in maintaining my thyroid’s current healthy, balanced state. Using some of these different tips has improved my thyroid’s health, and can definitely help you with any thyroid issues you are facing, whether it be Hashimoto’s, hypothyroidism, nodules, hyperthyroidism, ect.
